JUDGE: DAWN BUCKINGHAM
Dawn Buckingham follows the tradition of American Impressionism as a plein air artist to capture the natural landscape's light, color, and mood. “My growth as an artist is a journey of personal expression, appreciating moments in time, and sharing my joy of painting with others through teaching.” Her work has been recognized with awards in local and juried national shows, plein air competitions, and Quick Draw events. Her students and collectors include both US and International patrons.
Dawn is a Signature Member of the Pastel Society of Colorado. Other affiliations are Pastel Society of the West Coast, California Art Club, Laguna Plein Air Painters Association, Pastel Society of Southern California, Plein Air Artists Colorado, Southern California Plein Air Painters, and Anaheim Art Association.
