ABOUT INSTRUCTOR BETSY HOLSTER:
Betsy Holster is a professor at Cal State Fullerton and is a practicing artist in bookmaking, papermaking, printmaking, painting and drawing. An early member of CPSA, (recruited by her neighbor, CPSA Founder Vera Curnow), Betsy’s work is based on a sense of place experienced by both maker and viewer. Originally from the Lake Superior region, her work has changed with her move to California over 10 years ago, with increased study in mixed media applications and book arts. She enjoys sharing these explorations, helping others to see and create.
